Godspell
Tickets for the rock musical "Godspell" are now on sale in the ECV Finance Office! Four shows to choose from - Wednesday, May 23rd at 4 PM, Wednesday, May 23rd at 7 PM, Thursday, May 24th at 7 PM, and Saturday, May 26th at 7 PM. Tickets are only $5. For more information call ECVHS 401-4700!

Registration Information for
2012-13 School Year
Registration materials will be sent home with your children the week of May 28th. The packets need to be returned to school completed on the following schedule:
June 5 - current 11th graders
June 6 - current 10th graders
June 7 - current 9th graders
During students' English or History classes, they will turn the packets in and get photos taken for the coming school year.
For Incoming 9th Graders:
Tues June 5, 3:30 pm- 6 pm - incoming 9th grade A-L
Thurs June 7, 3:30pm - 6 pm- incoming 9th grade M-Z
Information will be delivered to the middle schools during the week of May 28th. On the return dates packets will be collected and students will get their photos taken for the coming school year.

It is that time again -
California Standards Test
Testing for Term long classes that were held during Term 1 will be: 4/24/12, 4/25/12, 5/1/12 and 5/2/12.
All students will be on a regular day schedule.
Students that had Term 1 classes to be tested will be pulled out and will be testing with their Term 1 teachers at a predetermined testing location. Click here for locations.
Term 2 and yearlong classes will be tested later in May. Those days will be 5/14/12, 5/15/12, 5/16/12 and 5/17/12.

Welcome to Teacher of the Year |

Congratulations to Maxine Sagapolutele for being selected as ECV's 2012 Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Sagapolutele has worked for ECV for nine years and has been our English Language Coordinator for five years. In that time she has worked diligently to improve the programs at ECV and provide students with quality educational experiences.
 
Grossmont Union High School District is extremely proud to announce our two District Teachers of the Year for the 2012 – 2013 School Year. Please join us in congratulating Maxine Sagapolutele, English Teacher and EL Coordinator at El Cajon Valley High School and Karly Johnstone, English Teacher and Yearbook Advisor at Chaparral. Maxine and Karly will now compete for the 2013 County Teacher of the Year, and be honored at A Salute to Teachers next fall. They will also be honored as the GUHSD Teachers of the Year at the San Diego Padres' Teacher Appreciation Night on May 4.
Please join us in congratulating all our outstanding Site Teachers of the Year. In addition to Maxine and Karly, the following teachers were selected by their peers to represent their respective sites: Ron Murphy, Grossmont;Stacey Johnson, Mt. Miguel; Jesse Huttenbrauck, El Capitan; Daniel Neighbors, Granite Hills; Cody Kuhlken, Monte Vista; Andrea Arrieta, Santana; Christy Bisera-Morales, Valhalla and Bill Cleves, West Hills.
We are very proud to have all these fine teachers represent their sites and our district as our 2012 – 2013 Teachers of the Year.
